We are so excited to welcome our new Medical Director, Dr. Gail Bushur-Irwin, to the Crossroads Pet Hospital family!
Dr. Gail Bushur-Irwin went to Lakeland Community College and graduated from the University of Illinois with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2003. She grew up on a dairy and quarter horse farm and is the youngest of 10 children. She has lived in Texas for two years with her husband, son, and her goats and quarter horses. She is known for compassion and building great relationships with clients. She enjoys being part of a caring team that’s focused on practicing high-quality medicine.
Over the years, she has found her favorite parts of practicing have been surgery, learning new methodologies, and bonding with her patients. She loves to volunteer to help less fortunate pets by donating her time and skills to give pets a second chance at a great life. Her family and she love to share their farm with others, so they can experience livestock up-close – many, for their first time. She and her family also ride and compete with their quarter horses. She belongs to the AVMA, TVMA, and is licensed to practice in Texas and Illinois.
Dr. Gail is excited to be your pet’s lifelong partner in healthcare. Request an appointment, today!
